You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER in the CHIEF OF STAFF OFFICE; CONTRACTS DIRECTORATE of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Duties
You will serve as senior advisor to the organization on organizational structuring and staff utilization, position
management oversight, and administration/oversight of corporate operations.
You will interpret, recommend, and implement a wide range of diverse actions, issues, programs, and support operations required to ensure maintenance of capabilities in assigned functional areas consistent with mission objectives.
You will recommend strategies, solutions, and corrective actions to internal/external stakeholders regarding identified issues and necessary adjustments that respond to new or changed Command objectives and priorities.
You will oversee the implementation of manpower procedures within the organization to ensure proper staffing and effective utilization of the workforce.
You will oversee the accurate and timely reporting of workforce metrics for efficient organizational use.
You will advise on organizational Human Capital initiatives (e.g. career development, workforce, security, and
facilities management).
You will provide direction and assistance to managers internal to the organization regarding administration,
workforce management, planning, and career development.
You will advise on strategic planning efforts and engagements, including identifying workforce needs, changes, and alignment requirements to meet mission requirements and demographic objectives
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating administrative programs or operational requirements (e.g., budgets, travel, records management, policy development, manpower) to identify problems and recommend improvements for an organization.
