You will serve as an Administrative Officer of NATIONAL MUSEUM of the United States Navy.
Duties
You will be responsible for the management of the daily administrative operations of the museum and the museum’s new campus project.
You will plan and complete special projects and assignments such as fact-finding on unusual, proposed personnel actions, developing structural packages, and overseeing Division performance management and awards activities.
You will evaluate and analyze procedures and policies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization through knowledge of the mission, organization, and work processes.
You will direct an office and staff including staff time management, creating annual performance plans, performance evaluations and providing advice, counsel, and guidance; provides recognition to deserving employees.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include all of the following: 1) Plan and complete special projects and assignments such as fact-finding on unusual, proposed personnel actions, developing structural packages, and overseeing Division performance management; 2) Provide management with objectively based information for making decisions on the management, administrative, and personnel aspects of the organization; 3) Evaluate and analyze procedures and policies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization through knowledge of the mission, organization, and work processes; and 4) Lead a staff including staff time management, providing advice, counsel, and guidance, and provide recognition to deserving employees.
