Duties
Examination of the Data Quality Management Control (DQMC) Program’s processes and projects to support the DHA mission.
Establishing and maintaining written, virtual and verbal communication channels with MTF personnel across the MHS to provide training, guidance and interpretation of DOD, DHA, and industry standards.
Coordinating the organization, collection, analyses, and presentation of information related to the statistical workload and financial data for the MHS.
Works with the DQMC team to prepare training materials at various monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly and annual opportunities for the DQMC Program and for DHA DQMC related Functions such as Resource Management, PAD, MCPB, MEPRS and UBO.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Up to 10% Business Travel is required.

Basic Requirements Health System Specialist GS-0671-12:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes, examination of Data Quality Management Control (DQMC)processes; collecting and analyzing financial data; reviewing reports and corrective actions; and providing guidance to stakeholders regarding data quality issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
OR
Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Healthcare Administration. OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages
