You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT REPAIRER in the MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON.

Duties

You will complete corrective repair of equipment systems and subsystems to make the equipment safe and an acceptable operating condition. You will work on equipment powered with gasoline, diesel, propane, natural gas, electric, and alternative fuel engines. You will remove, repair, adjust and install equipment components, and subsystems. You will perform equipment inspections, system diagnostics and malfunction troubleshooting procedures to identify the proper adjustment and repair tasks to return the equipment to a safe and acceptable operational status.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You are required to possess and maintain a current valid United States Class C driver’s license.

  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • You may be required to lift/carry items weighing up to 100 lbs.

Tasks performed in thie position include: The ability to perform common tasks including performing scheduled preventative maintenance checks and services.
