You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the NAVAL NUCLEAR PROPULSION PROGRAM of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.
Duties
You will support and advise the Director of Finance and Budget in the development, coordination, and implementation of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP) on policies, procedures, and priorities relating to fiscal administrative matters.
You will address policy issues affecting the administration, fiscal control, and resource management of Government laboratories and field organizations.
You will analyze operational areas involved with the construction, operation, maintenance, and modifications of reactor plants in nuclear-powered ships, moored training ships, and land-based prototypes.
You will coordinate the development and integration of existing and new NNPP requirements and budget assumptions.
You will analyze budget data on laboratory and training facilities, and federal staffing and administration.
You will prepare long-range program and budget plans for field activities, Government laboratories, and other prime contractors.
You will coordinate the development, justification, defense, and execution of the NNPP's research and development, and laboratory budgets, which includes budgets for both the DOE and DON.

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower band, BR-02 (GS-12) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing or managing the administrative, fiscal control, financial management, accounting or budgetary requirements to improve efficiency in program operations.
