You will serve as a Management Assistant (OA) in Flight Training support of CNATRA. Headquartered on NAS Corpus Christi, TX, the Chief of Naval Air Training leads the Naval Air Training Command composed of 5 Training Air Wings located on Naval Air Stations in Florida, Mississippi and Texas. The wings are home to 17 Training Squadrons. The mission of Naval Air Training Command is to train, mentor, and deliver the highest quality Naval Aviators who prevail in competition, crisis, and conflict.

Duties

You will manage the Flight Training Support Center (FTSC) Technical Library (TL) containing all Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS) technical publications, system documentation, programmatic documentation, instructions, policies and procedures. You will serve as the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) point of contact for Randolph Modification Update and Support System (MUSS) delivery of all T-6NB courseware. You will conduct daily maintenance control for all new and existing Training Change Request (TCR) within a database to ensure all changes to curriculum and courseware are completed within contract Level of Effort (LOE) timeline. You will be the central point of contact for all CNATRA activities (Five Training Air Wings and 17 Squadrons) with print requirements for NATRACOM curricula, training materials, and CNATRA PATPUBs. You will review credit card billing for consistency with printing records to eliminate over-charging. You will ensure accurate cost estimates, usage requirements, formatting, and distribution. You will generate and maintain internal control of all SERENA accounts and grant permissions to individuals on an as needed/rotation basis. You will execute and oversees the printing budget ensuring pertinent billing is accurate and within budget. You will conduct Defense Travel System (DTS) reviewer duties for the department.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to theGS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:performing clerical duties by collecting and organizing information from technical publications and entering or extracting data using automated systems to assist program analysis efforts. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

One academic year of graduate education DIRECTLY related to the work of the position.
