About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation.

Duties

Conduct special projects throughout the organization using established methods of gathering and tracking data, doing flow chart analysis, trend analysis identifying and resolving issues. Perform a variety of technical and administrative duties of significant complexity in support of organizational operations, planning, programming, and policy development. Establish controls and suspense dates and follows up to ensure that required actions and responses are completed within deadlines. Assist with production, quality, budget, process improvement, personnel, and other directorate level business actions. Serve as Government Purchase Card holder for the supply purchases.

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Administration or Business Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. AND Proficiency Required:This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementData Collection and AnalysisManagement SupportOral CommunicationWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
