You will serve as a Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist in the Engineering & Analysis Division, Quality Assurance Office of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS and IMF.)

Duties

You will analyze quality assurance segments of the division to determine technical and administrative limitation in developing the quality assurance programs. You will make independent reviews and approval all important quality assistance standards, processes, procedures ad report prepared in the division. You will review in-process and completed work products of subordinates for conformance and correctness with respect to correct application of quality assurance principles. You will define quality assurance objective and limitation of time, cost, facilities and etc. You will assign work, set standards, balance workloads and recommend plans for accomplishment. You will participate in conducting studies of unique problems for the purpose of proposing coordinated solutions to the Quality Assurance Director from the division viewpoint.

• You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing available quality capabilities to develop quality assurance program requirements and recommend policy changes or procedural modifications in response to new quality and certification requirements.
