You will serve as a SUPERVISORY QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (MATERIALS & PROCESSES) in the Nondestructive Testing Division (Code 135) of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will perform oversight with responsibility for quality assurance (QA) evaluation of non-destructive testing performance.
You will ensure all production timeframes and required completion dates are met in order to meet deadlines and manage workload.
You will build and develop numerous interrelationships and analyze significate variables to develop new approaches or to resolve persistent, widespread, or critical quality assurance problems.
You will conduct reviews of new technologies and processes that are applicable to present and future workload.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: administering a quality assurance program to include overseeing quality assurance surveillance and assessments of nondestructive testing (NDT), including Radiography, in support of the overhaul, conversion, or repair of ships or submarines.
