About the Position: This position is with the Fort Carson Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security, Training Division, Range Control Branch, Operations Section.

Duties

Determine solutions to work problems presented by subordinate staff or training complex users. Review grievances of subordinates while taking necessary action on ensuring disciplinary problems are resolved. Manage the employee hazardous environmental pay program. Develop performance standards ensuring the work of the subordinates is evaluated.

Requirements

  • Requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • TDY is 25%.
  • Heavy lifting up to 55lbs.
  • Must be in possession and able to maintain a valid drivers.
  • pre-appointment physical is required.
  • initial and random drug testing required.
  • Mission Essential position.
  • This is an obligated position. An obligated position is one to which an employee has statutory restoration rights or entitlement based on active military service, recovery from a compensable injury, or return rights based on an overseas tour.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
