You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the MRO Engineering Department Materials Engineering Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will analyze organizational information, coordinate, and respond to MRO-Engineering, Command and National data calls.
You will analyze procurement information and coordinate and respond to MRO-Engineering Program, Command, and National data calls.
You will analyze reports and present new or proposed workload policies and processes to identify impacts and prescribe innovative approaches to complex challenges that result from workload and staffing level fluctuations.
You will serve as the Lead MRO-Engineering Purchase Card Holder analyzing procurement information and providing advice and guidance regarding procurement operating policies, plans, and execution to leadership.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Providing knowledge of work performed by MRO-Engineering Group in terms of processes employed, associated costs, and products produced, (2) Demonstrating knowledge of MRO-Engineering goals and objectives as they related to management operations and human and financial resource allocation and management, (3) Proving the ability to perform ASO duties and responsibilities, 4) Performing material purchases, and (5) Performing credit card holder/purchaser duties. Best Qualifying Criteria: (6) Providing training and mentoring for new ASOs and (7) Current government purchase card holder/purchaser.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
