You will serve as a LEAD GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the Ashore Logistics Support Branch (TRF 522), Logistics Support Division (TRF 520), Supply Department (TRF 500) at Trident Refit Facility of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive supply support for the submarine refit maintenance mission, necessitating a deep understanding of the agency's mission, policies, programs, and objectives.
You will be responsible for in-depth knowledge of broad range of material policies and procedures related to ship repair at depot and intermediate maintenance levels.
You will be responsible for foundational understanding of budget and financial management principles and techniques.
You will be responsible for prepares messages, reports, and other written correspondence for approval in response to customer supply inquiries, ensuring compliance with existing instructions and directives.
You will be responsible for assisting in establishing procedures and identifying training requirements for the branch.
You will be responsible for communicating assignments, milestones, and deadlines to the team based on the supervisor's instructions.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience conducting research, identifying potential issues, analyzing cost data, and making recommendation for material procurement processes.
Experience managing outstanding job control numbers (JCN) and all associated material requests for the Trident Refit production shops.
Experience reviewing and determining the effectiveness of the flow and quality of the work, ensuring the timely accomplishment of the assigned workload.
Experience making micro-purchases for non-national stock numbers (NSN) materials, goods, and services in support of IMA requirements using a government purchase card.
Experience conducting research and analysis of MILSTRAP and Non-MILSTRAP transactions.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
- Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
