You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the Quality Assurance Branch Code 512 of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will serve as the supervisor for the Quality Assurance Support Branch operations You will plan, organize and control all supply and inventory management policy and procedures in compliance with existing DOD/NAVY directives. You will direct the preparation and submission of all required reports relating to management of NWCF and SWS. You will prepare and submits reports of findings, conclusion and recommendations to eliminate or mitigate possible negative impact on customer support. You will provide first line level technical and administrative supervision over eight Branch employees.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver?s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Information Technology (IT) Level II certification.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience maintaining supply management, stock control and inventory consisting of 85,000-line items or greater. Experience providing and implementing both Supply Management and Quality Assurance program/procedures to ensure the accuracy of inventories. Experience preparing audit procedures, inventory audits, and reconciles audit results. Experience providing analysis of supply system performance. Experience submitting required management reports. Experience reviewing and making recommendations on handling of inventories of funded stock material, but not limited to existing supply and inventory procedures. Experience interpreting and adapting Navy Instructions, regulations, policies, and procedures. Experience approving inventory sample sizes. Experience coordinating and conducting studies and analyses to resolve material accountability and supply operations effectiveness.
