You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Control Division (TRF-510), Quality Assurance Branch (TRF-512), Supply Department (TRF-500) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will contact and coordinate with individuals from Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), and various supply and support activities to ensure proper maintenance of stock levels. You will respond to distribution centers, supply centers, and customers worldwide that have questions or problems relating to items managed at TRF or logistical actions taken by TRF. You will perform Customer /Operational Studies by analyzing performance results from reports, statistical analyses, and customer surveys. You will ensure the timely processing of customer orders and customer access to material, status, and other order information. You will document reconciliation, revise existing specifications and storage location considerations with regards to logistics and special stow requirement policies.

Requirements

  • This is a bargaining unit position.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Information Technology (IT Level II) certification.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience implementing technical requirements and methods essential for processing items into and out of the Navy Stock Point, leveraging the Navy Working Capital Fund. Experience resolving discrepancies in requisition status and ensuring meticulous inventory accountability. Experience validating materials using the Submarine Logistic Database (SLDB), aligning with customers' requisition documents to ensure accurate issuance of the right material and correct quantity on hand. Experience communicating and developing relationships with customers to streamline and accelerate the movement of materials from the supply department to both internal and external customers promptly. Experience investigating and effectively resolve product or inventory discrepancies associated with customer orders. Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.

Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
