You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Quality Assurance Branch (Code 512), Supply Department (Code 500) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.

Duties

You will review and approve inventory adjustments according to dollar value, review, and analyze the results of causative research, and directs the performance of new or additional causative research. You will operate a variety of material handling equipment and automated material handling systems in receiving, storing, moving, and delivering industrial materials. You will sample, analyze, and evaluate the accuracy of physical inventories, locations surveys, audits, and quality and contractor personal in accordance with NAVVSUP P-723. You will analyze inventory/audit techniques for timelines and cost-effectiveness in achieving efficiency and accuracy of supply operations. You will perform continual test and analysis of both standard and local complex and unique supply programs to identify, document, and resolve supply problems.

  • Work requires travel away from the normal duty station.
  • Employee will be required to drive a vehicle. Thus, the incumbent must also be able to obtain and maintain a government driver's license.
  • Information Technology (IT Level: II required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience reviewing management reports and listings as they apply to inventory accuracy to identify problem areas and trends. Experience participating in projects and evaluations which may impact inventory records accuracy. Experience investigating discrepancies in all aspects of supply to determine the cause and suggest recommendations for corrective and preventative operations. Experience preparing reports relating to the supply inventory accuracy program and the quality control program. Experience advising on improvements at enhancing supply support operations. Substitution of Education:
Possession of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
