You will serve as a General Supply Specialist in the Supply Department (TRF-500), Control Division (TRF-510) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Duties
You will analyze inventory accounting documents to verify their validity and propriety.
You will recommend new or modified inventory management systems to resolve inventory problems.
You will conduct audits on a supply program to assess compliance with established regulations.
You will analyze effectiveness of supply programs through qualitative and quantitative methods.
You will evaluate effectiveness of existing procedures and systems to recommend improvements for supply operations.
You will review program operations to determine the effectiveness of established procedures.
You will manage data using automated reporting systems to track or report status.
You will update databases to track supply transactions.
You will brief mangers and officials concerning issues, problems, proposed solutions, and program accomplishments.
You will exchange information with personnel to resolve problems.
You will prepare correspondence to communicate inventory discrepancies.
You will write reports to provide information to managers.
Requirements

Qualifications
For GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience planning and conducting inventory audits and/or reconciles audit results, provides analysis of supply system performance, submits required management reports. Experience providing recommendations on compliance with existing supply and inventory procedures.
Experience Serving as technical authority for department's Strategic Support Branch operations.
Experience in planning, organizing and controlling supply and inventory management policies and procedures in compliance with existing DoD/Navy directives.
Experience Interpreting higher level requirements relevant to the execution of Strategic Support Branch operations and functions. Experience performing duties including quality control required to ensure the integrity of products/services resulting from work performed.
Experience executing the review and analysis of management reports and listing as they apply to supply effectiveness and inventory accuracy; identifies trends that might indicate the development of problem areas.
Experience Reviewing and/or approving inventory adjustments according to dollar value; Experience reviewing and analyzing the results of additional causative research on any adjustment that may warrant further study.
Experience coordinates and conducts studies and analysis which address TRIREFFAC material accountability and supply operations effectiveness using Navy ERP.
Experience reviewing and/or making recommendations on inventories of Navy Working Capital and SSP funded stocked material.
Experience Inspecting relevant documentation and utilizes sampling techniques and proportional random samplings to verify audit findings.
Experience analyzing inventory/audit techniques for timeliness and cost effectiveness in achieving efficiency and accuracy of supply operations. Experience Initiating the development of action plans, policies and procedures resulting from internal and external reviews, audits and Quality Control studies.
