You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist/Engine Coordinator in the Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC 68520) of COMFLTREADCEN.
Duties
You will manage data-driven performance measurement to continually evaluate the status and progress of the industrial and logistics operations and their ability to meet the needs of their customers.
You will coordinate with appropriate internal and external organizations to meet all industrial and logistics requirements.
You will support the oversight, monitoring and implementation of comprehensive logistics program planning and execution of module and engine production.
You will evaluate fluctuating resource levels and requirements due to additional or revised technical capabilities, budget/production rate/schedule and/or process changes.
You will facilitate planning, execution, liaison and management support for all engine and module related matters for out-year production planning and requirement determinations.
You will perform Root Cause Analysis and Production barrier Identification and provide guidance and discuss course of actions for barrier removal with FRC’s and other pertinent Stakeholders.
You will correspond with all Central Coordination Departments and provide feedback on engine and module production requirements, forecast and execution.
You will provide Depot Level engine and module production/capability to the Propulsion Enterprise for out-year production planning and requirements determinations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
GS 11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
Facilitating the overall integration and execution of the industrial and logistics efforts performed at COMFRC in support of the Fleet while assessing the quality of logistics and industrial support provided to customers
Supporting development of logistics and industrial proposals for potential customers and plans logistics and industrial capabilities for customers while also establishing policies and procedures
Exercising management and technical roles that are broad in scope and which are of significant in accomplishing Naval Aviation logistics and Industrial Operations
Monitors initiatives to reduce Naval Aviation support costs to achieve major efficiencies throughout the system while briefing Navy and DoD officials at the mid and senior levels
Ensuring regulatory requirements are met and the Command's objectives are achieved by managing risks and monitoring performance
GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
Providing quality logistics and industrial support to customers and assisting in the execution of industrial and logistics efforts
Supporting the development of logistics and industrial proposal for potential customers and following local policies and procedures
Following the initiatives made to reduce Naval Aviation support costs to achieve major efficiencies throughout the system.
Assisting with and ensuring development and implementation of new logistics concepts, corrective actions and changes to reflect new requirements, technologies and improved safety techniques
Formulating, documenting, and maintaining clear objectives and priorities and implement plans consistent with the long-term interests of the organization

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
GS-11: Ph.D. or equivalent Doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
Combining Education and Experience:
Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified in the table, and may be computed by first determining the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9 and GS-11.
