You will serve as a Supply System Analyst in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Submarine & Maritime Industrial Operations Department in the Department Support Division for NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties
You will perform general supply program management, using current understanding of supply business requirements.
You will research, evaluate, and provide support/analysis to correct problems and analyze patterns in customer support requirements
You will act as support liaison with user customer groups and communicates project updates on a regular basis.
You will utilize knowledge of applicable business improvement techniques and knowledge of a range of Information Technology skills to support logistics systems.
Requirements

Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience analyzing, developing, evaluating, or promoting improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program; equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) ) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:1) Understanding of business functional areas within Enterprise Resource Planning systems, to include: Planning and Forecasting, Budget and Financial, Repairable and Procurement Execution.2) Utilizing business processes, applicable business improvement techniques, and of a range of IT skills to support logistics systems.3) Analyzing, extracting, summarizing, and identifying business trends, issues, and systems requirements in response to business requirements, risks and costs.4) Collaborating with other functional experts, enterprise participants, outside commands and contractors.
To qualify at the GS-11:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience analyzing, developing, evaluating, or promoting improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program; equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) ) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:1) Researching, evaluating, and providing support to correct problems and analyze patterns in customer support requirements.2) Extracting, analyzing, and summarizing data into meaningful metrics and reports to drive business decisions.3) Applying fact-finding, analytical and problem solving methods to identify interrelated business functional problems.4) Liaising with user customer groups and communicating project updates on a regular basis

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
