You will serve as a Technician in the Airborne EMW Test and Evaluation Branch (WXSP) in the Airborne Electronics Attack Systems Division (WXS) of the Spectrum Warfare Systems Dept (WX) NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The NT-05 pay band encompasses the GS-13 and GS-14.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
Duties
You will be a Project or Task Lead and provide technical expertise for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), and the Airborne Electromagnetic Attack Systems Division (AEASD).
You will develop quotes, resolve obsolescence issues, establish project plans, budgets, and schedules.
You will provide direction to engineering and logistics experts while ensuring tasking remains within project scope, budget, and schedule.
You will perform in-service engineering functions for multiple Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems.
You will be involved in the repairing, testing, troubleshooting, evaluation, refurbishment and modification of electronic systems, subsystems, and cabling used in complex Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems.
You will perform Fleet Support Team (FST) tasking including Engineering Investigation Support, Engineering Change Proposals, Support Equipment Changes and Obsolescence management.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:providing technical engineering leadership and expertise on test and evaluation projects to identify technical issues within electronic warfare systems or subsystems during installation, maintenance or repair for the sustainment of the fleet.
