You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the STUDENT CONTROL DEPARTMENT of OFFICER TRAINING COMMAND.
Duties
You will serve as liaison to Navy Personnel Command (NPC) Detailers/Placement.
You will provide guidance to students on a wide range of topics which shall include, but is not limited to, Servicemember’s Group Life Insurance (SGLI), reenlistment/retirements, separation/discharge, tuition assistance, advancement courses, etc.
You will screen students’ service records for school requirements such as citizenship, clearances, bonuses, DD-214s, and required documents for entry into Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS).
You will identify students that require a performance evaluation or fitness report prior to transfer.
You will serve as the critical link between a Sailor, the command, the supporting personnel organization, Navy Personnel Command (NPC), and Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) all students assigned to the Officer Training Command (OTC).
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ability to coordinate with various organizations, personnel and customers to manage incoming and outgoing students and to identify any issues that may arise related to the program (i.e. submits all necessary paperwork within prescribed timelines); 2) Conducting briefs for incoming personnel and providing guidance to students on a variety of topics; 3) Utilizes databases to extract data and prepare statistical reports, briefs, corresponds, spreadsheets and presentations; and 4) Monitoring and tracking students/personnel and other relative data and to identify potential problems, discrepancies and notify appropriate personnel. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successfully completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to a master's degree
OR

OR
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. My percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
