Duties
As a PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serves as a Program Analyst, advising Defense Institute of International LegalStudies (DIILS) leadership on the evaluation, effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency of DIILS Security Cooperation (SC) programs/activities.
Develops and oversees knowledge and data management, ensuring that data,documents, and information relating to strategy, policy, planning, AME, and reportingare arranged in systematic and easily accessible formats, and that such data,documents, and information are organized and maintained in a manner that facilitateseffective and efficient long-term recordkeeping and utilization.
Researches and gathers data from a variety of data systems and reviews to determine past, current, and possible future performance to determine process improvements that might be needed.
Initiates and conducts studies to gather, document, coordinate, and implement metrics forDIILS SC activities.
Serves as a leading DIILS point of contact for coordination of reporting, requests forinformation (RFIs) and data calls within DSCU and DSCA.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Advising on the evaluation, effectiveness, productivity and efficiency on Security Cooperation programs and activities; managing data, information and reporting on Security Cooperation programs.
B.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
