About the Position: Serve as a senior analyst, coordinator, and/or project officer in support of the Joint Munitions Command Enterprise Integrated Logistics Strategy within the Planning Directorate
Duties
Perform as primary action officer on operations production, work loading, financial planning, and performance evaluation systems.
Plan and execute applied research directed toward the development of techniques to new and/or changing ammunition operations and general supply logistic concepts.
Represent the Command at meetings and contact with higher headquarters, Army commodity commands, and other agencies as required.
Present briefings to Command Group on new mission assignments and analysis of ongoing performance.
Serve as a senior analyst, coordinator, and/or project officer in support of the Joint Munitions Command Enterprise Integrated Logistics Strategy.
Coordinate with internal and external system design activities, major subordinate command, and installation in collecting data relevant assigned projects or evaluating procedures to determine their applicability within the Headquarter.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
- TDY travel up to 35% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Utilizing data and analytics to manage logistics requirements; (2) Reviewing ammunition program management regulatory guidance to ensure compliance; (3) Leading analysis of near and long term requirements to determine logistic mission to promote effective and efficient execution of core competencies to store, distribute, produce, and demilitarize ammunition. AND (4) Prepare and present communications and briefings for upper-level management regarding Army logistics requirements and readiness.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
