You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Systems Acquisition Group, Logistics Integration Department of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
This is the Assistant Program Manager for Logistics supporting PMA299, the H-60 Multi Mission Helicopters Program office. There will also be future vacancies considered for this announcement.
Duties
You will formulate the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned weapon system.
You will exercise resource responsibility/authority over support budgets to include planning, tracking and executing sustainment funds.
You will direct analyses by- appropriate activities and implement corrective actions with an emphasis on improving fleet aircraft readiness.
You will manage and direct the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support management to the weapon system.
You will plan and chair logistics and maintenance conferences, as required, throughout the acquisition and support phases to ensure a continuous, effective, and balanced logistics support program.
You will do all other duties/tasks as assigned.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the pay band (DS-05) or grade level (GS-12/13) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Demonstrating working knowledge of logistics life cycle management in support of aviation program and associated weapons systems; 2) Creating and updating logistics documentations such as the life cycle sustainment plans and contributing to the acquisition phases of the weapons systems; 3) Managing and overseeing financial and contract execution of funding as required to meet assigned platform goals for safety, cost, and readiness; 4) Developing and implementing maintenance capability establishment to support maintenance concepts/requirements to achieve aviation program goals and objectives within budget and life cycle cost: 5) Providing logistics expertise and guidance to employees, management, and other program stakeholders to ensure that designed logistics support systems meet established supportability requirements and performance parameters; and 6) Managing and directing the efforts of all logistics personnel providing life cycle product support management to the weapon system
