About the Position: Serve as a Project Manager with the responsibility to plan, manage and carry out complex assigned projects. In this position the incumbent integrates customer requirements and participation into a comprehensive management plan.
Duties
Serve as Project Manager, responsible for Planning, managing, and carrying out complex assigned facility engineering projects and/or Contracting Officer Representative (COR) responsibilities.
Evaluate and review the phases of project/contract development and execution including the interpretation of and compliance with criteria, regulations, policies and procedures.
Coordinate changes and additions on assigned projects/contracts and assures changes are successfully met.
Ensure the contractor adhere to the terms set forth in the contract and facility standards, notifies contractor of any deficiencies, negotiates resolution, and directs appropriate corrective action.
Work with Engineers/Architects and subject matter experts in preparation and execution of project site plans, location of facilities, Installation Design Guide, project maps, and project engineering drawings.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a Secret Clearance.
Qualifications
(1) Position may be filled as a temporary promotion NTE 3 years by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.
(2) Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 3 years, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of six years.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes project management and execution of planning, construction and related services (such as budget estimates, scheduling, resolving issues, etc.) for diverse, multi-disciplined complex construction projects. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above
