You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist at the GG-13 grade level responsible for for analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting raw Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) data. This position is located in Suitland, MD.
Duties
You will exploit acoustic data using specialized signal processing and analysis equipment and software installed in the National ACINT Laboratory (NAIL).
You will employ Target Motion Analysis (TMA) techniques and analytical techniques used in Sound Pressure Level (SPL) measurements, acoustic signal processing theory, and sensor certification.
You will develop new/revise existing formal intelligence products and assessments relative to the capability of foreign countries to undertake certain naval operations, (including briefings, automated/manual data bases, studies, estimates, analysis).
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Serving as a senior acoustic intelligence (ACINT) Analyst responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting raw Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) data using spectrum analyzers.
2) Integrating all-source intelligence and open-source information for national intelligence assessments.
3) Preparing and disseminating detailed technical and all-source intelligence assessments and other specialized products to represent the command position of foreign threat platforms.
