About the Position: The Army Contracting Command (ACC-DTA) provides comprehensive acquisition, contracting, business advisory, production support, and depot-level maintenance services acquiring, fielding and sustaining TACOM, Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) systems and supporting requirements. #ACC-DTA.
Duties
Provides management advisory services for external recruitment/ requests for personnel action; position classification; pay administration; pay pool management; awards; new employee on-boarding, and (LMER)
Initiates and conducts complex evaluations of strategies, mission objectives, resources, organization and operations.
Reviews and evaluates the effectiveness of assigned program policies and practices through reports, progress reviews, staff visits and other contacts with other organizations.
Maintains liaison with CPACs in various geographic locations.
Prepares and presents reports and informational and/or decision briefings workforce and/or leadership.
Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to10%.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

Must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (GS-11 grade equivalent or higher) in the Federal Service, which includes: Researching and interpreting a variety of personnel regulations providing technical advice and assistance to management on complex personnel issues; Providing advice and guidance on selection procedures and regulatory requirements governing merit promotion; using a variety of recruitment strategies to aid in strategic recruitment planning; researching and applying findings to provide solutions to a wide range of HR management; developing functional training and preparing policy and/or written instructions as required; Developing short-and long-range plans to support business operations by identifying human capital, human resources, training, and performance management needs; Communicating complex technical information clearly to a variety of audiences, to include senior leadership.
