Duties
Assist the Manager in the supervision, management, and administration of the marina. Plans and implements the various phases and projects of the program and handles problems and deviations in accordance with standing instructions, and established procedures. Assists in carrying out program projects, primarily in program planning, staff training, administrative duties and annual budget. Provides sailing instructions to include teaching scheduled classes when required. Assigns, reviews, and evaluates the work of recreation aids. Ensures the work is completed in compliance with established procedures and instructions. Trains new employees, instructs proper procedures and solves problems related to work.

Qualifications
A minimum of three years¿ experience that demonstrates responsible administrative, professional, and technical work involving marina operations, boating program management, or outdoor recreation facilities. Required experience of operating watercraft including the use and related mechanics of equipment, and recreational activities. Must complete the required Sailing training and CPR certification within six months upon employment. Incumbent must have the ability to supervise, deal effectively with subordinates, management officials and patrons, and to communicate both orally and in writing. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
