You will serve as a NUCLEAR, BIOLOGICAL, AND CHEMICAL DOCTRINE MANAGER in the DOCTRINE DIVISION (N5D), DOCTRINE, CONCEPTS, ANALYSIS, LESSONS LEARNED, AND HEALTH SERVICES INTEGRATION (N5) DEPARTMENT of NAVY WARFARE DEVELOPMENT.
Duties
You will participate in and coordinate Navy involvement in the development of the multi-Service and joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense-related doctrine.
You will develop and maintain a list of Navy CBRN SMEs to provide representative Navy reviews of multi-Service publications.
You will actively engage Navy communities, solicit fleet input, and encourage staff/appropriate Navy research and development lab active involvement in multi-Service tactical and operational-level CBRN doctrine development and review.
You will assist NWDC’s Joint Doctrine Program Manager in facilitating Navy CBRN community/fleet input on joint CBRN operational and strategic-level defense doctrine as appropriate.
You will serve as the Navy’s representative to the NATO CBRN Doctrine and Terminology Panel (DTP).
You may be asked to participate actively in the development of emergent CBRN defense related concepts.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-13:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience and extensive knowledge of Navy, multi-Service, joint, and allied CBRN doctrine and programs and knowledge of Navy doctrine development.
Experience and knowledge of physical sciences as related to biological and chemical defense weapons systems and doctrine.
Experience and knowledge of CBRN physical properties, hazards, and effects plus a thorough understanding of how policies and procedures impact combat objectives.
Experience and knowledge of NWDC's mission, functions, tasks, and management practices is required.
Experience and knowledge and understanding of the organization and functions of USN, Multi-service and international (Allied/NATO) Doctrine and the processes and procedures that support doctrine and its development.
