About the Position: Serves as the Chief, Civilian Talent Attraction and Acquisition Division, G1, HQ, Installation Management Command (IMCOM).

Duties

Counsel subordinates and make decisions on presented work problems. Reviews available and/or proposed training courses and determines applicability to employee needs and the work situation. Formulates and promulgates strategies that are designed to attract highly qualified candidates in the myriad of professional, white collar and blue-collar positions across the IMCOM enterprise. For GS-15 Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Providing guidance and direction to senior HR Specialists regarding recruitment and outreach strategies. Supervising and reviewing the efforts and work of subordinate branch chiefs and action officers based on priorities, consideration of technical difficulty, mission requirements, and Division capabilities and qualifications. Responsible for developing and implementing command policy and guidance for outreach and recruitment programs. Experience making selections for subordinate positions (supervisory and non-supervisory). Experience approving/disapproving leave requests; resolving informal complaints and grievances; counselling employees; preparing job descriptions; initiating actions to fill staff vacancies. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-14).
