Duties
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.
You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution.
You will prepare or reviews responses to reviews or audits.
You will plan work, set priorities, and schedule work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work.
You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This is a Financial Management Level 03 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level GS-13 or pay band (NO-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: 1.) Preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and providing recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas; 2.) Providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution; 3.) Developing format and content to provide managers
with various listing, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations; and 4.) Ensuring the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
