About the Position This position servies as the Senior Analyst for the Healthcare Operations Directorate under the supervision and direction of the Assistant Director, Healthcare Operations, in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Defense Health Network (DHN). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Conduct process improvement studies of Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Defense Health Network (DHN) health services delivery systems and operations, including services provided in the direct healthcare system. Perform analysis, leads and coaches using a variety of systems, tools and methodology to improve health services delivery systems and support operations for the DHN and subordinate Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs). Coordinate, business development informed by DHA strategy, documented gaps and priorities at the DHA, DHN, and individual MTF level. Provide technical direction to customers DHN-wide in areas of: the methodology required to develop and substantiate a business case for projects resulting from the strategic performance and/or business process. Responsible for extrapolating projected information requirements from DHA mandates and policy statements. Subject matter expert and consultant in health system program analysis and evaluation.

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
