This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic DIB & MRTFB in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located at the Directorate of Industrial Operations, Process Support Div, Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA.

Duties

Track data through use of automated software. Analyze workload received and executed by production area and customer. Prepare execution reports for internal and external purposes. Conduct analysis on Division performance trends. Support the internal operating budget build by analyzing execution and providing feedback on future planning needs.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel (TDY) up to 5% of the time.
  • Must be willing to accept a term position.

Qualifications

This is a term position not to exceed 13 months. Term positions may be extended up to a maximum of 6 years, and MAY NOT be converted to permanent. Term employment is subject to a one-year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights. Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal Service which includes 1) retrieving data utilizing automated systems; 2) gathering information for improvement of process flow in a shop or warehouse; 3) identifying problems in workflow procedures; 4) and preparing reports utilizing software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets. OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
