Duties

Through subordinate activity managers, is responsible for overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMWR) Business Division at a large garrison. Manages most of the following activities: Clubs, Food and Beverage, Entertainment, Bowling, Golf, Mobile Snack Facilities, Public-Private Venture, contracted business operations Recreational Lodging Operations and Kennel Operations. May coordinate with officials responsible for AAFES and the Army Recreation Machine Program. Directs, develops and administers plans and procedures. Provides policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division. Implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide aggressive community business program which meets the needs and interests of the military community. Provides sound leadership and supervision to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division. Reviews program objectives and priorities, and develops five-year plan with Capitol Purchase Minor Construction (CPMC) and Annual Operating Budgets covering projected programs of division resources Develops and/or recommends methods, operations, and programs to ensure profitable business activities income. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

• The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required.
• Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethics Regulation.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.

Qualifications
