About the Position: Serves as principal advisor and consultant to senior for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC), Office Of Commanding General CONTRACTING CELL.
Duties
Assist in the development of requirements documents for contract actions.
Determine appropriate procurement strategy based on regulatory guidelines.
Research innovative contracting procedures/methods and use of various programs to execute requirements.
Perform COR duties IAW contact terms and conditions.
Brief senior leaders and stakeholders on current and emerging requirements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- The employee must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and access.
- This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing advisory services on procurement related issues; analyzing contracts and providing in-depth assessments and recommendations; AND assessing procurement functions by applying qualitative and quantitative methods. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
