You will serve as the Electron-Optics Suite Manager in the Global Deterrence Defense Department, Strategic Microelectronics Division of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
Duties
You will operate, maintain, and manage the Strategic Microelectronics Division's state-of-the-art electron-optics suite.
You will operate equipment, manage equipment maintenance, manage personnel training, and workforce development.
You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders for determining workload priority and maintaining equipment availability.
You will manage data retention for all electron optics tools and manage internal equipment requirements to ensure the branch is able to support all customer needs.
You will manage conflicting priorities and schedule workload.
You will be required to utilize knowledge of radiation safety requirements for electron optics tools.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Operating and maintaining Strategic Microelectronics instrumentation/equipment (e.g., microscopes, x-ray, spectrometer, diffractometer, nano-probing, plasma cleaners) to ensure internal equipment requirements for the division. Desired knowledge of the radiation safety requirements for electron optics tools.
