Duties

Incumbent serves as Supervisory Assistant (Logistics) with responsibility for integrating the supply, maintenance and transportation functions of a unified logistics program. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating property management and accountability controls to insure compliance with guidelines. Prepare procedures for annual inventories. Plan, assign, and direct work to be accomplished through subordinates, establishes work priorities, and reviews work of assigned personnel in progress and upon completion. Arrange pickup/delivery of equipment and supplies, as well as storage, inventory, preservation, issue and disposal of equipment. Make adjustments to accommodate changes in workload due to seasonal changes, holidays or other factors.

• Must be available Monday through Friday 0730-1600 with Saturday and Sunday off

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of three years progressively responsible experience that demonstrates the ability to analyze problems and recognize solutions, plan and organize work, and communicate effectively orally and in writing. OR Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university. Education earned in purchasing, global logistics, logistics operations, storage and distribution, economics, accounting and business law or other applicable fields may be substituted for hands-on-experience.
