About the Position: This vacancy exists within the office of the PEO CS&CSS. Positions will be specifically located in the PEO CS&CSS, Staff. However, the referral list generated by this announcement may be used to fill future vacancies in the PEO CS&CSS & PEO GCS, with duty location at Warren, MI and/or Selfridge, MI.
Duties
Serves as the PEO lead for Logistics process improvement, Item Unique Identification (IUID) and supports logistics audit readiness functions as a member of the PEO staff.
Responsible for the oversight and improvement of logistics processes and procedures across the full range of logistics functions.
Assists with audit preparation and development of internal controls for Government Equipment (GE) in LMP and other Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR).
Reviews requests for project codes and ensures all the data the Installation Army network Station (ANS) requires is properly populated.
Serves as liaison between DASA (S) staff, DASA (PPR) staff, HQDA staff, OSD staff, and PMs and as the focal point for issues and concerns that require higher headquarters intervention.
Develops logistic plans to ensure the integration of various logistic functions to support assigned projects.
Identifies new program requirements and provides for the development of plans for integration with the current mission.
Evaluates accomplishments to determine mission objectives.
Represents Program Executive Office at conferences or meetings with representatives of ASA (ALT), AMC, DA, OSD, other services, and private industry.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel away from your permanent duty station requirement of up to 5% of the time.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectee must meet position requirements for advanced certification in (L) Life Cycle Logistics within 48 months as of entrance on duty.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 level in the Federal Service that includes the ability to: (1) Assisting with audit preparation and development of internal controls for Government Equipment (GE) in LMP and other Accountable Property Systems of Record (APSR); (2) Participating in development of basic budgetary requirements for adequate logistics support of assigned systems; (3) Developing logistic plans to assure integration of various logistic functions in support of assigned projects; and (4) Identifying new program requirements and provide for the development of plans for integration with current mission.
The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (or GS-11 equivalent).
