Serves as a Human Resources Specialist in the Human Capital Management Division at the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA)Headquarters. The primary purpose of this position is responsible for participating in multiple HR Policy and Human Capital Management programs.
Duties
Plans, conducts, and completes studies and projects in multiple program areas, providing staff-level advice and services throughout the Agency.
Conducts analyses through review of reports, studies, and evaluations.
Prepares and provides training, advice and briefings to senior leaders, managers, supervisors and employees on compliance with Telework regulations.
Knowledge of and skill in applying a wide range of Human Resource Management (HRM) principles, concepts, regulations, practices, and laws in one or more specialties.

Requirements

Qualifications
You must meet the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) qualifications for series 0201 and additional requirements by the announcement closing date.
Experience: One (1) year specialized equivalent to at least GS-11. Experience can be under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience include:
Plan, conduct, and complete studies and projects in multiple program areas including telework, wellness, recognition, incentive awards, performance management, pay and leave administration.
Analyzing, and assessing of the FulI-range of complex, diverse Agency HR management (HRM) program issues.
Applying a wide range of Human Resource Management (HRM) principles, concepts, regulations, practices, and laws in one or more specialties, sufficient to solve a wide range of complex, interrelated HR problems.
Applying to use Analytical methods and techniques to solve HR Policy and Human Capital Management Functions.
Ability to design and conduct HR Studies.
You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
