You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Spectrum Warfare Systems Department (WX), Airborne Electronics Attacks Systems Divisions (WXS), Division Operations Branch (WXSL) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high-grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
Duties
You will provide detailed instructions and procedures in accordance with the program's Security Classification Guide (SCG), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and applicable marking guides.
You will ensure adherence to applicable laws as well as national, DoD, and other Special Access Program (SAP) security policies and requirements.
You will evaluate foreign travel trends for Special Access Programs (SAP)-accessed personnel keeps information readily accessible.
You will establish and oversee the visitor control program.
You will certify Special Access Program (SAP) accesses to the facility for visits between a prime contractor and the prime's subcontractors (Contractor Security Program Officer (CPSO) only).
You will provide recommendations and for making key decisions and policy development on short- and long-term security planning.
You will review all foreign travel itineraries of program-accessed personnel and conduct pre- and post-travel briefings/debriefings.
You will execute complex concepts utilizing knowledge of intelligence disciplines and employing imagination and resourcefulness in the application of technical and administrative disciplines.
You will possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.
You will provide initial program indoctrination of employees after access approval.
You will oversee an information management system for the Special Access Program (SAP) to facilitate the control of requisite information within the SAP.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS 11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and administering procedures and policies in security programs to identify and resolve problems for the protection of operational and physical security of information.
