Duties

Responsible for performing day to day funds execution and management transactions of all appropriations for assigned PdMs Review written documents, examines accounting records, and uses automated data systems to ensure budget ceilings are not exceeded. Develop budgetary methods, procedures, formats, and techniques of analysis and presentation relating to funds management. Research audited transactions and gather substantiating documents for Audit samples.

Additional information about transcripts is in this document. ***Experience Required*** General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01 or equivalent (GS-04) pay grade level, which includes: 1) Managing a budget in accordance with applicable regulations and laws; 2) Utilizing various accounting systems and databases to manage funds and research financial transactions.; and 3) Applying various problem-solving strategies to determine root causes of financial discrepancies. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-01(GS-04 equivalent). OR Education: Four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. (You must provide a copy of your Bachelor's Transcripts) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120.
