About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Recreation activities are abundant in the immediate and surrounding areas for family and fun.

Duties

Assess the organization's financial policies, practices, and processes. Produce financial reports and other resource management information reflecting the interrelationships between accounting, budgeting and other management data. Communicate the organization's mission to the team and ensure it is integrated into their work plans.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent is required to comply with all requirements of this program. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
