You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Public Works Business Line (PWBL), Naval Station Norfolk, of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic .
Duties
You will implement Supply Chain Management (SCM) solutions that meet the Navy's material readiness requirements through innovative processes, policy or procedural changes, program modifications, or other tactics.
You will provide technical expertise and analytical knowledge of the Navy and DOD supply processes and procedures to FEC PWBL leadership and helps define requirements for applicable systems.
You will represent supply chain equities for their assigned geographic area of responsibility to institutionalize best business practices, implement process improvements, and shape local and global SCM requirements.
You will develop ideas for new or revised interfaces, techniques or processes leveraging Maximo in the SCM program and conduct training in order to implement approved procedures and maintain effective performance.
You will oversee the collection of data, monitor system for vulnerabilities, ensures integrity of analysis, evaluate documentation, and develops or fills out management reports.

- This position may require travel, 25% of the time or less, from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes when making site visits, as determined by site conditions and applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing supply chain management (SCM) functions supporting the material readiness of facilities, utilities and transportation assets.
