Position is located within the Air Traffic Organization, Eastern Service Center, Operations Support Group, AJV-E200.

Duties

Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of FAA air traffic control processes and procedures to perform required airspace and procedures analysis. Considers the objectives of the major subdivision and LOB/SO when developing, integrating, and implementing solutions to diverse, complex problems. Assignments frequently require knowledge and experience working across functional and/or organizational lines.

• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-J level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I or FG/GS-13. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is:Specialized aviation technical knowledge, skills, and abilities, and project management skills are required.Technical experience involving operation, installation or establishment of NAS components, facilities or systems.Project management experience in NAS related programs on projects involving acquisition, deployment, sustainment, and improvement of facilities. Including aviation technical knowledge gained through experience in the design, development, deployment, or performance evaluation of systems or facilities that support the NAS.Design, project management or construction administration of projects or programs in military or other public or private sector infrastructure development efforts.
