You will serve as a Supervisory DAWIA Program and Business Operations Specialist in the Business Directorate of NAVAL FACILITIES INSTITUTE.
Duties
You will serve as the DAWIA subject matter expert for NAVFAC and work closely in collaboration with the SYSCOM Acquisition/DAWIA Program Director and the NFI Director on Acquisition Workforce (AWF) related matters.
You will be responsible for identifying and resolving DAWIA related issues, drafting, interpreting, implementing DAWIA policy, assessing impact on NAVFAC programs.
You will implement guidance on the management of the defense acquisition technical training, DAWIA Certification and Continuous Learning
You will supervise a team to ensure that the organization's strategic plan, goals, objectives, work plans, work products, and services.
You will be responsible for determining resource requirements and optimizing NFI's products and services by establishing sound business management practices and policies, as well as serving as primary resource manager.
You will adjust plans and operations to account for shortfalls in budget, manpower, or other resources.
You will advise managers or personnel on matters pertaining to contracting, accounting, budgeting, or project management.
You will analyze approaches for implementing new program regulations.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to theGS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing coordination of financial issues, including the processing of allocated and/or reimbursable funds; 2) Providing budgetary inputs and monitoring the budget execution; 3) Providing guidance, recommending and assessing workforce development programs to staff, supervisors, and managers; and 4) Recommending, planing, integrating and/or evaluating complex programs with training and certification requirements.
