You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the INFRASTRUCTURE DIVISION, CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.

Duties

You will serve as a project manager and technical expert in space management. You will provide knowledge and functional guidance relative to aspects of facilities space management refurbishments and repairs and will consistently exercise independent judgement. You will ensure proper course of action and sustain accurate results in the coordination of all space management facilities projects. You will be responsible for the programmatic implementation of the Archibus Space Management tool, including Command coordination, accomplishment of requirements, and coordination with Warfare Center Program Managers. You will support the development and implementation of the facilities 5-year plan requirements providing guidance to Command Leadership and facilities project managers to ensure all facilities projects meet the mission requirements. You will conduct engineering studies, prepare reports and drawings and recommend solutions based on a thorough knowledge of space management principles.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying project management concepts, principles and techniques to plan, execute and inspect facilities space management projects for an organization.
