About the Position: Serve as a Senior Analyst in the AMCOM DEPUTY COS G8 (RES MGMT) AWCF MGMT DIV SMA SUPPORT BRANCH, providing technical advice and guidance to leadership relative to the performance of plans and budget functions.
Duties
Compile and evaluate planning and budget execution data.
Work extensively with the Logistics Modernization Program and/or General Fund Enterprise Business System to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions.
Manage planning, financial review and analysis and budget execution activities for a variety of AMCOM programs and supported weapon systems in terms of major funding.
Develop and maintain internal operating budgets and obligation plan schedules to determine resource requirements.
Review and Prepare program budget narratives including impact statements and justifications.
Execute and reconcile the budget in the Logistics Modernization Program.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance during the duration of employment.
- Occasional travel may be expected up to 5% of the time for this position.
- You must obtain a Financial Management Level II Certification within 24 months of entrance of duty.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: applying qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of financial execution. This experience includes knowledge of planning, programming and budgeting regulations, guidelines and processes to plan and execute financial resources for assigned programs.
