About the Position: This position is located with the Army Sustainment Command, SPO Transportaion Readiness Directorate, Rock Island Arsenal, IL.
Duties
Oversee and plan overall program and operations for ASC Installation Logistics Baseline Services (ILBLS) Deployment support.
Provide Mobilization/Demobilization operations subject matter expertise and staff oversight for PPBES planning and execution within the AMC/enterprise resource management systems (such as ERMS and SCA).
Provide leadership/guidance to AFSBs and subordinate organizations to improve processes and procedures of programs.
Serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Mobilization/Demobilization Division of the Transportation Readiness Directorate (TRD) at U.S. Army Sustainment Command.
Provide Army Mobilization/Demobilization and deployment support expertise and command-level management oversight for Army Installation (AFSB/LRC) support to Army Force Deployment operations, to include automated transportation systems and interface.
Perform overall planning for ASC HQs, TRD and subordinate organizations by analyzing mobilization and deployment mission assignments.
Prepare/present mission critical briefings or written technical documents to senior command personnel (General Officer or equivalent) and to higher headquarters staff such as AMC, DA, or other Command.
Establish program objectives and develop current and long-range plans for accomplishment of assigned functions.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 Secret Security Clearance.
- Temporary duty travel of 25% may be required. Travel may include site visits to stateside and overseas locations.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
