About the Position: Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist utilizing senior level skills and knowledge of Army Combat Service Support (CSS) policy, procedures, and automated logistics information systems with emphasis on the Army's CSS activities in the tactical and operational levels of the logistics continuum.

Duties

Prepare capability development documentation for logistics Information systems. Develop doctrine involving logistics automation and and determines impact on automated logistics systems requirements at various operational levels. Define functional requirements for combat service support systems application software in conjunction with developing doctrinal automation architecture to specify appropriate functions to be automated at each echelon of the Army in the field. Research complex problems in order to provide recommendations based on knowledge of logistics automation systems.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 50% of the time.
