About the Position: Serves as Chief, System Lifecycle Lifecycle Support Division, with overall, managerial responsibility for the Division and all its missions. Incumbent is a recognized functional and automation expert who supports the development and maintenance of the SIS Automation Architecture.
Duties
Manage the implementation of new system application in the field of unit level logistics.
Coordinate automation initiatives with CASCOM and TRADOC, Army Futures Command, HQDA Staffs, other services and allies to ensure a workable automation architecture for joint and allied operations.
Review Division operations such as spot check of work in progress, review of completed work, and results obtained to assure maximum efficiency, economy, and effectiveness operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires pre-employment Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with information systems; supervising and/or managing program management activities that are supportive of the logistic field; creating capability development and support documents in accordance with the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and/or other established processes such as Business Capabilities Acquisition Cycle (BCAC), identifying potential solutions to operational capability gaps; organizing, assigning, or evaluating the work of subordinate personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
