You will serve as an Administrative Assistant (OA) in the NSTC GREAT LAKES.
Duties
You will update and maintain databases, records, training, and files as required.
You will work with instructors to schedule training opportunities.
You will serve as the protocol liaison for high ranking and distinguished visitors during coordinated events.
You will receive and deliver mail and packages.
You will prepare data reports, reflecting unit performance, trends, developments, and make recommendations to the cognizant area manager concerning area issues.
You will maintain inventory, determine administrative requirements, and order office supplies.
Requirements

- This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinate phone calls and visitors to appropriate personnel or other offices; 2) Use Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create documents, reports, or presentations; 3) Inform or instruct clerical personnel concerning procedures for preparation of naval correspondence; 4) Revise records or files to keep them current, complete, and accurate in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
